It's gotta be around the time my first "depth charge" (coffee + shot of espresso) starts to hit me-- not much can compare with the initial rush of caffeine high as you get into full swing of starting your day.
I think it helps that I really like mornings; and the sensation is amplified the earlier it is.
on the weekdays, i would have to say my walk home-- especially now that the weather is crisp and nice.
I think that my favorite time of day is when I open my first beer or pour my first drink.
the first bite of my breakfast sandwich followed by the first sip of coffee... on the patio at krakatoa... especially now that it's a little bit chilly out and that coffee feels fantastically warm going through my insides... it's the only part of my day that I don't have to listen to anyone else because everyone I know is still asleep.
im a student at uc santa cruz and most often my favorite moment of my average day is when i am riding home on the bike path that goes through the lower campus. There is a one hill that offers an amazing view of the town and the whole monterey bay.
Getting up whenever seems good and hanging out in the backyard with my dog. The weather is beautiful, and we just enjoy each other's company.
Tie between watching the fog through the trees as the sun rises, and the first sip of Guinness at the end of the day. Okay, so I just let out a sigh while typing that last part. Guinness wins.
because my life is 98% failure, i've learned not to sweat the little things and enjoy the larger moments in life. the moments that give my hoe-bum existence an electrical charge are those moments when i can tie it all together. this is both in my research, by coming up with novel ideas and implementing them, and in my life by realizing my patterns and behavior --whether good or bad-- and how to embrace or eradicate them, respectively.
Oh man, it's the moment when I have no further obligations for the day and I can get into sweats and go to bed.
I think mine is the two hours between waking up and going to work. I walk to the gym early in the morning and find New York City pleasantly quiet. Then I do some bullshit cardio that makes little to no difference in my overall physique. Then I walk home to make coffee and breakfast and feel like I am ready to conquer the planet. I feel this every morning, even though I know I am not conquering anything and life is a meaningless shell of an existential joke.
J.K.! lunch is awesome, too!
Easy, right when you get into bed and get all cozy. On weekends this is exciting x's 2 because you know you get to sleep in!
Hitting the jenkem.

Pretty much what tomo said.
Crawling into bed and going to sleep is probably the best part of my day.
I like eating, too. I aspire to being a fatty-bo-batty.
Morning coffee.
I go to the gym on my way home from work, so leaving the gym is the best. I'm usually not looking forward to it, so I love knowing that it's over with.
Pajama time is also pretty awesome.
the moment of the day that gives me the most satisfaction is when i can squeeze the phrase "venn diagram" in a regular conversation. more than anything else i do, that gives me the biggest sense of accomplishment.
