I would be the drum major wearing a furry hat.
Oh, man! I wanted to say drum major. Fine, I'll play the Sousaphone.
Most definitely a Sousaphone because I've always wanted to get into one of those back and forth "tuba battles" with someone.
Dang! I want to be the drum major, and have reasons to win this case:
1)own a multitude of kilts.
2)have stupid-long arms, so the band will be able to see my motions easily
3)won a drum major competition for total amateurs at a scottish games (note:did not volunteer, but was drunk and okay with being chosen)
If these reasons don't beat out Phil's dibs, then I will call dibs on the role of 'drum majorette who dances behind the band members, while performing baton routines', if only to beat Beth to the punch.
(that last one was me, it used my blog name)
Ahem. So what I said was, Tiffany- will you use a flaming baton? Because that would rock.
And, I want to play the tambourine.
trumpet
Oh! Snare drum, for sure!*†
*I hate being "beaten to the punch" so I will maintain that snare drum was my first and only response. And I stand by that, firmly.
†Plus, I think it's the coolest sounding band instrument.
Drums like in Drumline!
