Goat
Swiss.
I think it's called English Cheddar with Caramelized Onions.
What's yours, Thadd?
bleu.
ditto on the goat
Probably Marin French Cheese Company's Rouge Noir Camembert.
But really, any cheese that isn't 'American', dyed a color, or containing soy, is totally up my street.
I like dry aged jack with what Kana* and the rest of her kind would refer to as "pears" without any modifier.
*hint: she is of Japanese decent
I changed my mind upon remembering TJ's English Coastal Cheddar and how a slice of it with Coleman's mustard is like a piece of heaven.
Edam!
Gouda but only on top of pie.
Other than that,I have a weakness for goat cheese.
Humbolt Fog and Midnight Moon.
I should also note that I will eat any cheese at any place at any time.
And people who don't like cheese make me very uncomfortable. I don't trust them.
I want to hang out with Ariel. She sounds awesome.
gorgonzola, bleu, and brie...
I am vegan, but I will respond anyway, even though you will all secretly (or publicly) mock me. Finding anything that even resembles cheese is hard when you are vegan, but I really love the cashew "cheese" sauce used on the nachos at real Food Daily in LA. I would eat buckets of it if they let me.
I like the Goudas, Goats and some of the other more worldly blends... but a good Nacho cheese is hard to top in terms of pure taste bud satisfaction.
I've had the pleasure of a warm Gouda and caramelized garlic spread on top of bruschetta a few times and was sent straight to heaven, but I bet it had more to do with the garlic than the cheese.
I'm also a fan of sandwiches that come with a good swiss or cheddar, but I typically don't eat cheese by itself.
BURRATA.
Sottocenere
I love cheese. I would love to try the aged cheddar with carmelized onions that Beth spoke of. Mmmm. Fresh parmesan. Mmmm. I love smoked cheeses. Smoked cheddar, smoked fontina. Mmmm. I just want to eat bricks of the stuff. I like the extra aged white cheddar, though some brands just aren't as good as others. There's a brand called Diamond that's good. I want to try more cheeses. Goat cheese? Sometimes it's okay, but I would still prefer something else. Sometimes I just can't stand it at all. Blech.
