Question #43 Pigeons
Why don't people eat pigeons? In my neighborhood, the Egyptian restaurants sometimes serve it. If you say that they are dirty then you've obviously never spent any time around chickens.

have you ever eaten it? the thought of you eating a bird might never seem right, though, at least to me.
i don't know-- i don't see many american restaurants ever letting go of the dirty idea... it is so ingrained. though, i once tried goat and that is probably just as dirty as a pigeon. also, it should be noted that i am pro-pigeon harvesting if only on principal because they are a nuisance.
too many bones? not enough meat?
i feel that way about rabbit. too many little bones. not enjoyable to eat.
let's google it!!
People do eat pigeons, but in restaurants its called squab, like pigs are called pork. They are delicious! and eating annoying animals, like pigeons and alligators, is much more satisfying because they're jerks.
Phil, you never ever eat pigeon!!!! They are Earth' lowest creatures and should only be extinguished... as violently and mercilessly as possible.. God will look upon it favorably...
