dark chocolate! usually with some type of nut.
The darker the better
I prefer milk chocolate. And now I am hooked on M&M's because of this guy on CL.

I prefer either white chocolate or carob.
milkchocolate IF it is good chocolate, like Galaxy or British Cadbury's none of this watered down cheap american hershey rubbish.
If I am not able to have the above, dark chocolate, preferably surrounding a pineapple truffle from See's candy.
I only like hard Brachs(tm) brand candy, preferably served out of an antique candy dish and at least 13 years of age.
Dark, but anything more than around 70% cacao is too dark. After the holiday gift basket inundation at my office, I've deemed Godiva the dark chocolate champ.
Milk, for sure. And specifically in Cadbury egg form. If you ever want to bribe me to do something for you, a Cadbury egg is the best currency to use.
Dark. but I am not adverse to milk. Joe, you can keep all the carob and white choco to yourself.
Milk chocolate, my favorite is Lindt.
I prefer dark, and this

Is the funniest thing I've seen in weeks. :]
As dark/bitter as possible.
milk chocolate for sure. ritter sport and toblerone hands down.
I like milk, but it's hard to find in vegan form, so I usually have to go for dark. The yummiest thing ever is to melt some chocolate and dip red vines in it. Amazing.
before i went vegan i looooove the cookies and creme hershey bar. it'll make your knees quiver.
What makes chocolate chocolate is there is cacao in it, but milk chocolate has little cacao in it and it's mostly milk and sugar. It's like asking if you prefer fresh squeezed orange juice or Tang. Besides, milk itself is gross.
I know I sound snobby saying milk chocolate is for proles, but it barely feels like chocolate at all. Good dark chocolate bars are green & black, the kind with the endangered gorilla on the package, dagobah and scharffenberger.
I like milk. I even like the super cheap chocolate in advent calendars. They are so cheap but taste like hot chocolate.
it doesn't matter, as long as it's chocolate (white doesn't count).
I love all chocolate. I used to like milk chcolate better, but now I'm all about the dark. Only GOOD dark chocolate, though. Hershey's sucks.
And I like nuts in my chocolate.
