The most specific thing to come to mind is the baby-like sound from Aaliyah's hit single, "Are You That Somebody?" It alone puts Timbaland forever on my good side.
Also, the pluck of a banjo and the stroke of a fiddle.
Finally, I must note that the fairer sex in general is capable of emitting certain vocal subtleties unequaled in both pleasantness and power.
Beth and I once said that this old soprano clarinet player, Craig, (from Melt open mic) would be the soundtrack to our lives if we had enough money to pay him to follow us all day... but other than that I can experience the most jubilation and the deepest pain at the sound of a fiddle or violin. And I really love that.
The sound of clanking, sometimes breaking, bottles being rolled down my street, at 3 am, from one garbage can diver to another(in an effort to conserve energy - it's a pretty big hill to lug stolen recyclables down.) Innovation is a beautiful thing.
The sound I like the very best is the sound of the tritone with the blend of harmonics and "soft clipping" you hear from an overdriven tube amp. ie Black Sabbath.
Other than that, the sound of the rocks clicking together in the waves you can hear up in shelter cove
I like the wind as well, especially when it's so quiet you can't hear anything else. I also like the sound of rain and thunder. Other fun sounds : The sound a slot machine makes when you win, the sound a beer bottle makes when you open it, the sound a bottle of wine makes when you open it, and my cat purring.
My cat likes to lay on my pillow next to my head at night and sometimes when she's asleep she takes a deep breathe and lets out this long sort of half sigh-half purr that is the most contented sound I've ever heard.
Here you will find a new question to answer every weekday. This is not a secret so tell others about it, eventually we will sell ads and use the money to buy ice cream sandwiches for everyone and when we say "everyone" we mean it literally.

1) the sounds my kids make when they sleep
2) the ocean
Currently, the pond in my backyard.
Country critters on a warm summer night in Auburn.

clicking from metal. like those old lip balms that come in tins and you have to slide to open it. that makes and awesome clicking sound.
babbling brook. It was my favorite sound from the sharper image white noise machine I had before it broke.
