Question #8 Fingers
How much money would it take to get you to have one of your fingers amputated, and which finger would you choose? Those of you with less than ten fingers please answer this question: how many consecutive hours could you go without sleeping?

$8 million and it would have to be my pinky on my right hand (i choose this one, because i can't get over the habit of sticking that finger out when i take a drink, and that looks silly). it would have to be that much money, though, because i have a serious fear of amputations.
if you have ever seen the '85 movie cat's eye (which i watched countless times when i was younger, even though it is a stephen king flick and he sucks), you will remember this scene at a dinner party where this woman is drinking champagne and sticking out her pinky stub. i figure that if you can still go to chic dinner parties pinky-less, i can deal with it.
i would only need a cool half a mil to get a finger removed. i think id have my ring finger taken off..i thought of the pinkie, but realized then that i wouldnt be able to make the rock hand gesture when things got rad. and that would be sad. if the thumb were to go, well, i wouldnt have anything to threaten to stick up anyones ass.
I think half a mil is a good price for one of my fingers...well actually, Ill do it for 970 thousand..Which is the median home price in San Mteo/San Francisco county. That way, Ill get a house out of the deal. And I choose my ring finger on my right hand, just like Jerry Garcia.
